EVERY TUESDAY 10 AM – 8 PM

Wayne Public Library

Preschoolers can learn the alphabet with a weekly take home kit of letters, shapes, colors, and more! The kit will include information on teaching your child to identify letters including games, puzzles, and activities.

A new take home kit will be available every Tuesday (while supplies last) continuing on March 2, 2021. Kits are limited. One kit per family please.

Join the Wayne Historical Society as the 102nd U.S. Colored Troops Co. B reenactment group talk about the history and origins of their group and what life was like for an African American in the Civil War. This event will be outside on the lawn, please wear masks and social distance

Many Hands and Hard Work: Farm Families 1850-1910

THURSDAY, MAY 13, 2021 AT 7 PM EDT – 8 PM EDT

The Wayne Historical Society

Guest speaker Debra Reid, Curator of Agriculture and Environment at The Henry Ford will speak about what life was like being a farmer from the 1850s-1910s in this area. The development of horse drawn implements, the coming of the first affordable tractor and caring for livestock were all on the minds of Wayne County farmers. Come hear what it was really like. Light refreshments served.

Arting at the Wayne Historical Museum

The Wayne Historical Society

Join in supporting the Wayne Historical Museum and create a beautiful 8×10 stained glass mosaic in a design of your choice. A portion of the $45 proceeds will be donated to the museum.
