Small Business Saturday will look a little different this year in Downtown Wayne

With COVID cases on the rise, we have decided to do Small Business Saturday virtually this year. Due to the impact of COVID-19, it’s more important than ever to support our local businesses by choosing them for all of your seasonal needs.

This year, in celebration of SHOPPING LOCAL, we are pleased to host 3 fun aspects of Small Business Saturday:

Weekly Featured Businesses
Through the holiday season, Wayne Main Street will be featuring a local business in Wayne. Be sure to check out our Facebook to see what business we will be promoting this week. We encourage you to shop these stores and share their posts on social media.

Facebook Lives
Wayne Main Street will be doing many Facebook lives of our local businesses and what they have in store for the holiday season. Be sure to check our Facebook page!

Small Business Saturday Shopathon
Wayne Main Street would like to invite you to participate in our Small Business Saturday Shopathon. Get your holiday needs from within your own downtown! We have a lot of great shops that can fulfill your gift lists. Your purchase helps sustain our neighborhood small businesses!

How to participate:

1. Pick up a stamp sheet from a participating business or download the form here.

2. Shop at downtown Wayne businesses between November 23rd and December 16th to receive a “stamp” for your Shopathon form. You must shop from at least three different downtown Wayne businesses to be qualified. Be sure to attach a copy of your receipts. If you do not receive a “stamp” for your form, as long as you have a copy of the receipt, it will count!

3. Submit forms to the Wayne Historical Museum on Wednesday, December 16th  or if you would like no contact entry submission, please email photos of receipts or scanned in-store receipts with a picture of your “stamp” form to director@downtownwayne.org.

The submitted form with the most stamps from at least three different local businesses will win first prize. Second prize will be a random drawing of all the qualified submitted forms.

Like, comment, and share our Small Business Saturday post on Facebook to be entered into a drawing to win third prize.

Post pictures of you shopping or dining at a local business with the hashtag #shopsmallwaynemi to be entered to win a $25 gift card to a downtown Wayne Business.
